Timelessness and elegance is at the heart of everything we do however you and your love story is what turns that once piece of paper into a celebratory heirloom.

Custom Invitation Suites are a one-of-a-kind testimonial to you, your love story and the sole purpose of your wedding gathering both aesthetically and emotionally. Within the Maria Elizabeth process you shall be taken on a journey that includes hand drawn illustrations custom to you; hand written calligraphy; colour palettes; beautiful envelope liners; luxurious paper and more.

ENQUIRE A QUOTE

Here at Maria Elizabeth, we are fully aware that each client has a unique set of requirements hence why we respectfully ask, no matter if you’d prefer semi-custom or custom, to fill out the enquiry form. Once having sent over your enquiry form, the more detail the better, we shall base your quotation on what you have requested. Please note that this shall take up to 3 working days and will also be based on availability.
We like to be transparent here at Maria Elizabeth, as honesty is always favoured kindly, and let potential clients know that based on a quantity of 100 a budget of £1000+ is presumed for a suite. Please note that if you choose to add this to your styling package of choice then discounts may be applied.

MEET & PROPOSE

E-Meeting is important as this allows us to get to know one another, understand your vision and ask those important detailed questions. Before this meeting takes place you shall be asked to create a pinterest board of inspiration in order to get to the heart of your story during our time together. After our discussion, within a week, you shall be sent a proposal outlining your colour palette, moodboard, detailed list and breakdown of costs.
Once you are happy and certain with your proposal, you shall be sent a client agreement form to sign. After having signed, your deposit can be paid and you shall be officially booked into the Maria Elizabeth client system. Congratulations!

DESIGN & CREATE
The fun has arrived! However we can’t have fun without ‘u’ in the middle and so now that we have all of your requested desires we can begin creating stationery that you never dared dream of. During this process you shall receive proofs via email where you shall be entitled to adjustments until it reflects your story perfectly.
As precision is its own reward we like to give the process of semi-custom a minimum of 6-8 weeks and custom 8-10 weeks. By doing this it allows us to refine the details of your suite before we confidently move on to the printing stages.

PRINT & PRODUCTION
Once having signed off on your final proofs and having paid your final instalment your suite shall be sent to print - hooray! Here at Maria Elizabeth we work with the most reliable printers in the UK as we pride ourselves in quality and care.
Please be aware that in order to ensure your invitations are sent to print in enough time, stress free, you must meet the required design deadlines sent to you. Smooth is fast!

DELIVERY TO YOUR DOOR
Once your invitations have been completed in the studio they are given one last quality check before being carefully packaged and sent to your home. If you require assembly or guest list postal services then these are additional’s that can be added.
If you decide to post ‘Save the Dates’ then please do so no later than 9 months prior to your wedding and ‘Invitations Suites’ no later than 3 months prior to your wedding. Once having done so all that is left to do is wait for your guests' excitement in RSVP’s.

PRINTING METHODS

LEARNING & EDUCATION

To make things easier to understand when it comes to your stationery we have created a list of the top four printing methods. Our hope is that this list is insightful and helps you make the best decision for you, your story together and vision when it comes to creating your very own custom stationery.

DIGITAL PRINTING
This style of printing is one that you will be most familiar with as we see it around us not only in the workplace but at home almost daily. Digital printing is when we have your invitations printed straight onto your paper of choice in standard black or coloured inks.

DIGITAL FOIL
If you’re looking for an elevated look that is more economical then digital foil is a great option. This printing method is first created by a digital printer on smooth paper to which the foil is then laid flat on top to create a metallic sheen.

HOT FOIL
This method of printing is more luxurious than the previous two simply because the first step in creating this look is by manufacturing a metal plate out of your design. Once this has been created, in a method similar to letterpress, the plate is stamped into your chosen high gsm paper leaving an indented impression in a foil finish.
This method is our go to house method at Maria Elizabeth due to its luxurious finish and high quality feel.

LETTERPRESS
The most luxurious of printing methods that will stand the test of time. To create this finish a metal plate of your chosen or bespoke design must first be created. Once it has been made, your pantone colours of choice are mixed to perfection and placed onto the wheel before being pushed into the paper creating an impression that delivers a paper masterpiece.
